Every now and then my man is able to drag me out to go get some ice cream. I know, right? You got to drag a girl out to get ice cream? I'm not a huge ice cream person. So why the 5 stars, you ask?... Our Cold Stone Creamery Creator? Creationist? Wizard? Blazer, or at least that's what I think his name tag said, was a rock star at his job. First off, go with a Signature Creation if you can't handle choices. They know what they're doing when they create these recipes of sugary deliciousness. I went with All Lovin' No Oven, Cake batter ice cream with cookie dough, whipped topping and fudge. I also went with a Like It size cup with a waffle cup, which is still huge for me. Back to Blazer. Cold Stone Creamery, hold on to this guy or you'll lose him to a bar that embraces stellar cocktail flair. He scooped up the ice cream and flipped it up in the air a couple of times before dunking it on their signature stone and filling it with goodies, mixing it up and tossing it into the waffle bowl. Before making mine, Blazer was flaring when there was a caramel malfunction with a wee bit more sauce going into his ice cream bowl. Blazer offered to make a new one, but on first bite, Robert was pleased with his caramel to ice cream ratio. He made our ice cream in record time, and EVEN SANG THE TIP SONG very well. This guy was on point with his company branding, and you could tell he cared. My All Lovin' No Over texture was somewhere between traditional ice cream and soft serve, and every bites laden with cookie dough. While I probably won't be back till the next blue moon, I really appreciate the great customer service here!

Very rich super sweet ice cream created with any combination of toppings crushed in with fanfare by your server. I found it to be a little to rich as far as sweet and fat for my blood as my stomach agreed for the ache and nausea that occurred later. If your in the are its a good place for high end ice cream. There is a yogurt shop and Baskin Robbins in the area also.

Ice cream was ok, we tried the strawberry cheesecake and birthday cake cookie dough. Have been to many of these type of ice cream parlors across the country, always a fun little touch to watch them mix in the ingredients. The birthday cake cookie dough was a bit too heavy for our liking, couldn't finish it. Personally I would rather go for some gelato over this but overall not bad if you love super sweet and creamy ice cream.

The ice cream is very good, but not great. However, when you add the fixins and mix it all up on an ice cold marble slab it turns it into a delectable delicious dessert delight. The result is a cold concoction creating countless calories! I'm not a big fan (I'd rather a cannoli and cup of coffee) however I can't seem to keep my kids away. Pricey, but they do use qualify ingredients and the servings are decent sized. Overall, an outstanding olfactory ovation.

Cold Stone is decent ice cream, but I don't think it's better enough than the nearby competition to justify their prices.

Wow. I can't freakin believe I am the first to review this place. It's been here for years. And honestly, I never even went inside till today. It's a tough call on that corner. You have Pure FoYo, Baskin Robins and Cold Stone all within like 50 yards of each other. First impression was good. It felt more like a coffee shop for adults than an ice cream shop for kids. That is until we got to the counter. Wow! The toppings are insane! Anything you could think of. they didn't have 31 flavors, maybe more like 20, but they were well thought out, old standards like mint, bubblegum, chocolate, but there were also some more experimental kind of things like peach iced tea and chocolate cake batter. We tried chocolate, a pink lemonade sorbet and a chocolate shake. All were very, very good. I liked the pink lemonade the best, it was so light and refreshing. They had a nice looking menu of different ice cream dessert concoctions and also some very eye catching ice cream cakes an cup cakes.

My boyfriend and I come here very often. I usually get a take home pack of my favorite custom mix and we each get a milkshake. My boyfriend will usually branch out more than I do. By now I've gotten my take home pack enough times for each worker to have made it 2-3 times. Sweet cream with bananas, double peanuts and double almonds. Simple enough. The girls get it right every time. The older guy who works there just can't get it right though and gets frustrated with ME when he gets it's mixed up and I don't want to keep the caramel or whatever else he put in I didn't ask for and make him take it out. Moral of the story: if it's girls working the store, go for it. If it's the guys or atleast the older guy with glasses, go to Baskin Robbins. From now on I'm turning around and walking out if he is working because it's not worth the headache or awkwardness.

Is this an ice cream Godsend? Baskin Robbins on super crack? I mean if you can ICE CREAM think it, they can ICE CREAM create it, lol. I think the creations are limitless... This particular location is quaintly situated in the heart of the RIVERBEND in Uptown New Orleans, manned by super nice, patient employees. Despite having been here several times before, it took me about 10 minutes to read through all the creations, then another 10 minutes to make my selection... Ha!!!! 20 minutes... Lol!!! So, I paid for my ice cream treat, tipping the ice cream creator for his greatness & I'm out headed to the car, "home James". A little pricey for ice cream, so this is truly a treat, not an everyday occurrence, PLUS being lactose INtolerance ain't no punk, nor is maintenance of this "Girlish Figure"; not a simple feat!!! (Only the strong survive. Lol) See ya next go round you in my Ice Cream Dreams... it was good for me, was it good for you??? Lol.

I loooooooooove the birthday cake deluxe ice cream as ice cream or a shake. Recently I tried the chocolate devine shake which was also delicious. I'm anxious to try the apple pie a la mode next. Very good ice cream. I'm a fan. I wish there was a closer location than alllllllll the way down Carrolton.

The employees are very nice here, however the managers are not. I came in one day, ordered an ice cream, and as soon as I walked out I dropped my ice cream cone (in plain sight of the manager) I went back in and apologized for my clumsiness and asked if they could give me another scoop or something since I spent $7 on an ice cream cone I didn't get to eat and all the manager could say was "we don't give out free ice cream". Terrible way to talk to a customer and I won't be back.

I love cold stone ice cream it's the best ice cream you can find in New Orleans. My favorite thing to get is Rocky Road on a waffle cone which is chocolate ice cream and marshmallows with almonds. Definitely recommend it!
